"Easier prep and application than bathtubs! Very durable coating. You wouldn't have known the bathroom was completely remodeled after the tile floor was sprayed. Not one mark was made during the remodel. Very impressive! "

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What additional tools or equipment will I need to purchase?
You already have almost everything you need! The only thing you will need to purchase are a set of shoe spikes to protect the floor while you are spraying.
Q: How does NAPCO’s Spray-On Tile Floor Coating Adhesion work?
A: The adhesion will be the same as refinishing a bathtub tile surround. Following these steps will give you both the mechanical and chemical bond required. Step 1: Clean with piranha prep Step 2: Apply Gorilla Grip.
Q: Is there a suggested warranty for this product?
A: 1-5 years depending on traffic. If this is in a main lobby or walkway it's suggested to give a shorter warranty. If in a rarely used guest bathroom, warranty longer.
Q: How do I prepare the area I will be coating?
A: You will need to prep with tape and use protective items such as a drop cloth, masking paper, or painter's plastic to protect baseboards, cabinets, etc depending on the area before spraying the floor.
Q: Will this coating work for grout lines?
A: Yes. You can spray right over grout lines which will also seal and protect them. However, if they’re dirty, you will need to clean them before spraying.
Q: When is the right time to spray the floor?
A: Spraying the floor should be last – on your way out once the tub, surround and vanity are completely dry so you can mask up. Remember, you must wear shoe spikes. This will keep you safely up off the floor and will prevent damaging the floor as you are spraying your second and final coat.
Q: How can I prevent overspray on the floor?
A: Check the flow on your air valve before spraying to ensure overspray is minimized. If it's causing overspray then you need to adjust the valve to reduce the air pressure.
Q: When is this product considered "Dry to Tack" ?
A. Wait at least 15 mins in between coats. You can use a box fan to speed up the drying, however make sure the fan is not on while spraying.
